Discovering Saint-Cado
Saint-Cado is a tiny islet linked to land by an 11th-century stone bridge. Legend has it that the bridge was built by the devil himself, fooled by the saint. On the islet, the 12th-century Romanesque chapel hosts concerts in summer thanks to its exceptional acoustics.
Facing the islet, the famous little house on the water has become the emblem of the Ria d'Étel and one of the most known images of the Morbihan. At sunset, the spectacle is simply unforgettable.
All around, the oyster farms offer oyster tasting feet in the water — the quintessential Breton gastronomic experience.
The Ria d'Étel: our playground
The campsite is located by the Ria d'Étel, this unique estuary classified among the most beautiful natural sites in Brittany. Our private beach opens directly onto the ria, and our natural seawater pool is fed by its tides.
From the campsite, set off by kayak or paddleboard to explore the meanders of the ria, discover secret islets, observe seabirds and reach Saint-Cado by water. The Ria d'Étel is a preserved ecosystem of exceptional richness.
