Camping in Brittany from April: experience spring by the sea

Opening on 3 April 2026

Le Moulin des Oies Campsite opens its doors on 3 April 2026 for a new season in South Brittany. From opening day, enjoy our private beach, the natural seawater pool and an exceptional setting between the Ria d'Étel and the Atlantic Ocean.

Spring in Brittany is a well-kept secret: golden light, deserted coastal paths and mild temperatures make April the ideal month to rediscover the Morbihan without the summer crowds. In Belz, the campsite awakens to the rhythm of the tides and the songs of seabirds.

“April in Brittany is the luxury of calm with all the beauty of the coast.”

A mild and surprising climate

South Brittany benefits from a particular oceanic micro-climate. In April, temperatures range between 10°C and 16°C, with sunshine often comparable to certain central French regions. The Morbihan is in fact the sunniest département in Brittany.

It is the season when nature awakens: camellias and rhododendrons bloom along coastal paths, migratory birds stop over on the Ria d'Étel, and the first warm spring lights illuminate the turquoise waters of our private beach.

“The Morbihan in April: the Brittany that surprises you with its mildness.”
