GR41 and GR 34 walks
The banks of the Ria, as far as Quiberon Bay, offer magnificent walks in Southern Brittany.
Discover: the ria d'Etel with the Listoir forest, the island of Saint Cado, the dune massifs of Plouharnel and Erdeven with its back forest and Kéravéon castle, the wild coastline and Quiberon peninsula and the dunes of its bay, not forgetting the megaliths of Carnac. In July and August, free hikes are organised every Thursday morning for a free guided walk lasting around 2hours: information on 02 97 55 41 93. These hikes are suitable for children and beginners.
The walk includes a special section on megaliths, with a second meeting on Friday, starting in Port-Niscop.

GR34 - From Lorient to Quiberon: via the Ria d'Etel
The Ria d'Etel is home to the GR34, and Camping Paradis Moulin des Oies is at the heart of the GR34.
From the Citadel of Port-Louis, facing the port of Lorient and the coast, to reach the Ria d'Etel, you walk between land and sea.
From Port-Louis, head towards Gavres and admire the dunes that hold back the sea at low tide. The lagoon is a great place for fishing on foot (cockles and clams).
The Ria d'Etel is an inland sea of Morbihan, where you will discover a delicate marriage of fresh and salt water. On your route, the island of "Saint-Cado" opposite the Camping Paradis Le Moulin des Oies is an ancient Sardinian port sheltered from the waves of the ocean. Opposite the campsite is a vast area for fishing on foot. Take the coastal road to the Barre d'Etel and visit the fishing port.
From Etel to Plouharnel, discover a landscape between sea and countryside by joining Erdeven. Near Plouharnel, you can admire dolmens and megaliths. From Plouharnel, head for the Quiberon peninsula.

Getting around by bike
If you're a nature lover, La Ria is the ideal starting point for a wide range of walks.
Come and discover the Ria d'Étel by bike, on foot, on horseback or on the water in a paddle or kayak. To make the most of all these activities, you can hire electric bikes, mountain bikes or even tandems from Les Bikes de la Ria. Morbihan Rando Services can organise the transport of your luggage between the various meeting points, so that you can travel with a light mind and a light bag.

The area around Camping Paradis Le Moulin des Oies is extremely rich in cultural activities!
From Vannes, of course, where summer exhibitions are a regular feature, to Sainte-Anne-d’Auray, the Morbihan region offers a host of exhibitions that you should get to know on rainy days or simply when you’re relaxing.

Take advantage of the spring tides to go fishing on the banks of the Ria d'Etel!
What is a tide?
It's the rise and fall of the sea, caused by the pull of the moon. When the tidal coefficient exceeds 100, it is known as a "Grande Marée".
Breathtaking scenery and fishing on foot
High tides are a great time to go for a walk or a fishing trip, with the family and children or with friends!
The higher the tidal coefficient, the further the sea withdraws. The high tides are therefore eagerly awaited by anglers on foot, as the hunting ground expands.
Cockles, clams, razor clams and periwinkles will delight amateurs and novices alike!
Sustainable fishing
Don't forget to put back any rocks you've turned over - nature will be grateful.
To avoid picking up shells that are too small, you can use the rulers available at the various Tourist Offices in the region. By doing the right thing, you'll be contributing to sustainable fishing.

The great Penthièvre beach is a magnificent playground for sand yachting, with miles of beaches from Saint Pierre Quiberon to Erdeven.

Water walking
A new water sport has arrived in the Ria! The Etel nautical centre organises water walks. The principle is simple: you immerse your legs and walk in the water. The setting is magnificent and the benefits are worthy of a thalasso!

Accessible by bike, the Ria d'Étel water sports centre lets you take advantage of this inlet of the sea to discover a wide range of water sports, including paddling, diving, kayaking, optimist sailing and surfskiing. The activities on offer are accessible from the age of 4, with a wide choice to suit all tastes. Introductory week-long courses are available to help you discover these different activities. Thanks to the visible stretch of water at Étel, each activity can be enjoyed in complete safety.

Triathlon de la Ria d'Etel
Triathlon is an Olympic sport consisting of a combination of 3 basic sports practised by everyone: swimming, cycling, running.
This dynamic modern sport is attracting more and more people, attracted by the personal commitment and challenge, the values of triathlon and the atmosphere of the competitions.
All competitions approved by the French Triathlon Federation are open to non-members, subject to certain basic conditions: presentation of a medical certificate and subscription to a daily insurance policy.
As a result, the XS and S distance races are becoming increasingly popular with the general public.
The Comité Départemental de Triathlon du Morbihan is organising the 1st Triathlon de la Ria d'ETEL.
The committee has more than 700 members, including 190 young people, in 18 clubs, including 6 triathlon schools, 2 2-star schools and 4 1-star schools. The 56 committee is one of the most dynamic.
This August, the PRADIC seaside resort will be beating to the rhythm of the Triathlon!

Leisure Parks
Just 10 minutes from our campsite near Carnac, come and have fun with your family in a leisure park on a human scale for young and old alike. Le P'tit Délire is open from April to the end of October. You'll find over 70 games, a mini farm and outdoor activities in a 700 m² indoor area. Inside, you can enjoy a snack or simply have a picnic in the peace and quiet of this beautiful wooded park. The whole family will be able to enjoy a great day out.
For adrenaline junkies, the paradise for young and old or family adventure Kingoland, the large park in Morbihan, opens its doors to you between Vannes and Lorient, 30 minutes from Le Moulin des oies campsite.
For those who prefer life-size thrills, I invite you to immerse yourself in the Branféré animal park located 40 minutes from the campsite and open every day from February to November. You can discover the African plain with giraffes, zebras and ostriches, the Indian valley with rhinoceroses and antelopes, and the desert plain with dromedaries, donkeys and lots more. The marine area with penguins around three pools will fill you with wonder, and then there are the free-flying bird shows. You'll have a cocktail of activities and animals to enjoy with your family or friends on a magical day in Morbihan near Vannes.
