At the heart of Camping Paradis Le Moulin des Oies, discover our private beach, a true haven of peace in Brittany. Nature and Sport

GR41 and GR 34 walks

The banks of the Ria d'Étel offer superb walks in Southern Brittany, all the way to Quiberon Bay.

Don't miss: the Ria d'Étel with the Listoir forest, the island of Saint-Cado, the dunes of Plouharnel and Erdeven, the forest and castle of Kéravéon, the wild coast, the Quiberon peninsula and its dunes, and the megaliths of Carnac. Information brochures are available from the campsite reception. A map of the Belz footpaths is also available from the town hall, enabling you to discover the chapels, calvaries and megaliths in the commune.

In July and August, free walks are offered every Thursday morning (for a guided walk lasting around 2h30, information on 02 97 55 41 93). These walks are suitable for children and beginners. A special section on megalithism is included, with a second meeting on Friday, departing from Port-Niscop.

RandoBelz, the hikers' association for the commune of Belz, organises outings on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Meet at 1.15pm at the Place Edouard Gilliouard car park for a 1.30pm departure (information on 02 97 55 56 47).

GR34 - From Lorient to Quiberon: via the Ria d'Etel

The Ria d'Étel is criss-crossed by the GR34, and Camping Paradis Moulin des Oies is right at the heart of this exceptional itinerary.

From the Citadel of Port-Louis, facing the port of Lorient and the coast, you follow a unique route between land and sea to the Ria d'Étel. Along the way, you'll head for Gavres, where the dune belt, which protects the sea at low tide, offers magnificent scenery. This site is also ideal for fishing on foot, particularly for cockles and clams.

The Ria d'Étel, an inland sea in Morbihan, is a subtle meeting point between salt and fresh water. During your walk, you'll spot the island of Saint-Cado, just opposite Camping Paradis Le Moulin des Oies, an old fishing port sheltered from the ocean waves. Near the campsite, there is a vast area dedicated to fishing on foot. Along the coast, don't miss the Barre d'Étel and its fishing port.

From Étel to Plouharnel, the landscape blends sea and countryside, with a stopover in Erdeven. Not far from Plouharnel, you can discover the region's dolmens and megaliths. Finally, from Plouharnel, continue your adventure towards the Quiberon peninsula.

Fishing on foot

Take advantage of the Spring Tides to enjoy some shore fishing along the banks of the Étel Ria! It’s the perfect opportunity to share a lovely moment with family or friends while exploring this beautiful environment.

What is a tide?

A tide refers to the rising and falling of the sea, caused by the gravitational pull of the Moon. When the tidal coefficient exceeds 100, it is called a "Spring Tide". The higher the coefficient, the further the sea recedes, offering a wider fishing area that shore anglers eagerly await.

Cockles, clams, razor shells, winkles… will delight fishers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned experts!

Important Reminder

Shore fishing is subject to strict regulations. It is essential to respect the minimum sizes for shellfish and to replace any rocks you turn over, in order to protect the ecosystem. To avoid collecting undersized shellfish, measuring sticks are available at local Tourist Information Centres. By adopting these responsible habits, you contribute to sustainable fishing and the preservation of our natural heritage.

Discover the pleasures of angling or boat fishing

Whether you're an amateur or a passionate angler, the region offers exceptional fishing opportunities. From the tranquil shores of the surrounding area, or aboard a boat in Quiberon Bay, you can discover many different species of fish.

The large beach at Penthièvre is a true playground for sand yachting enthusiasts, offering kilometres of beaches stretching from Saint-Pierre-Quiberon to Erdeven.

Water Walking

A new water sport has arrived in the Étel Ria! The Étel Watersports Centre organises water walking sessions — one-hour guided walks where participants wade through the sea. A unique setting with benefits similar to a thalassotherapy session!

Triathlon de la Ria d'Etel

Triathlon is an Olympic sport consisting of a combination of 3 basic sports practised by everyone: swimming, cycling, running.

This dynamic modern sport is attracting more and more people, attracted by the personal commitment and challenge, the values of triathlon and the atmosphere of the competitions.

All competitions approved by the French Triathlon Federation are open to non-members, subject to certain basic conditions: presentation of a medical certificate and subscription to a daily insurance policy.

As a result, the XS and S distance races are becoming increasingly popular with the general public. The Comité Départemental de Triathlon du Morbihan is organising the 1st Triathlon de la Ria d'ETEL.

The committee has more than 700 members, including 190 young people, in 18 clubs, including 6 triathlon schools, 2 2-star schools and 4 1-star schools. The 56 committee is one of the most dynamic. This August, the PRADIC seaside resort will be beating to the rhythm of the Triathlon!

Leisure Parks for all ages with animals

Just 10 minutes from our campsite, in the direction of Carnac, come and spend some unforgettable family time in a leisure park on a human scale, suitable for young and old alike. Le P'tit Délire, open from April to the end of October, offers more than 70 games, a mini-farm and outdoor activities, as well as a 700 m² indoor play area. On site, you'll find a snack bar for refreshments, or you can enjoy a picnic in the peace and quiet of this green park. It's the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy together!

If you're looking for a thrill, Kingoland, the Morbihan's largest amusement park, is just 30 minutes from the campsite, between Vannes and Lorient. It's the perfect place for a thrilling adventure, whether with family or friends!

For those who prefer life-size thrills, we invite you to explore the Branféré animal park, located 40 minutes from the campsite and open every day from February to November. You'll discover the African plain with its giraffes, zebras and ostriches, the Indian valley with its rhinoceroses and antelopes, and the desert plain with its camels and donkeys. The marine area, with its penguins and ponds, and the free-flying bird shows will fill you with wonder. A perfect mix of activities and animal discoveries for a magical day out with family or friends, in Morbihan near Vannes!
